Assistant Manager

 

Hours: 45 per week, 5 days a week

Job Type:  Full time, permanent

Start date: Immediate

Schedule: Week and weekends

Salary: £24-28k

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Assistant Manager who has 2 years plus experience of working in a busy cafe and bar environment. The sucesful candidate will support the GM with all areas of repsonsibility of Common café, shop and wine bar.

Key things are we are looking for:

  •  Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to motivate and lead an well-organised ship

  • Highest level of customer service skills that go above and beyond expectation

  • Passion for organic food and fine wines

  • Experience of stock ordering and waste control

  • Highest levels of health and safety procedures and food hygiene standards

  • Fluent in social media tools such as Instagram and Facebook

  • Understanding and compassion for environmental and sustainability issues

  • Eye for cleanliness, presentation, detail and always seeking improvement

  • Must have legal right to work in the UK

  • Desirable: personal alcohol licence

Supervisor/ Head of Kitchen

 

Hours: 35-45 hours a week

Job type: Full time including at least one weekend

Shifts: Mornings and Evening

Start date: ASAP

Salary: £9.50 per hour + tips

We are looking for enthusiastic, experineced and self-motivated person to join our bustling kitchen team. The right candidate will have previous experience who of working in a busy cafe or restaurant kitchen.

What key things are we are looking for:

  • Positive, outgoing, confident and authentic persona

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the highest level of customer service skills that go above and beyond expectation

  • Kitchen experience

  • Passion for great food, exceptional service

  • Expereince of developing or contibuting towards the menu

  • Understanding of health and safety procedures

  • Food hygiene Level 2 or 3 certificate

  • Understanding and compassion for environmental and sustainability issues

  • Eye for cleanliness, presentation, detail and always seeking improvement

  • Desirable skills of having also worked in a bar or as a barista

  • Must have legal right to work in the UK
